Coming Soon - Zoey!

Adorable Zoey is 6 months old. She would do best with another confident dog. Her behavior around cats and small kids is unknown. We will post updates as we get to know her more!

Meet Emma!

Emma is 12  years  old  and  is  looking  for a place to  spend  her  golden  years. She has started her slow kill heartworm treatment and is doing OK with it.

She is still settling into  her  foster  home. She doesn't like loud noises; she prefers a quiet home. Due to this, a home without small children might be a best fit for her.

Emma will need a calm, happy, and confident (in her place within the home) dog to live with. A dog  her  same  age  and activity  level  will  work  best. She's going to  do  best in a home with a canine companion. Emma is also indifferent to cats. A home with or  without cats would be fine for her.

Meet Astrid-Adoption Pending!

Astrid is thriving at 8 months old, embracing her playful and curious nature. She's highly intelligent and quickly learning essential skills like house manners, leash walking, and basic commands. Astrid adores interacting with her foster sister, a 5-year-old GSD, and respectfully listens to her foster kitty brother's boundaries.

She shows some curiosity to new things but also looks for reassurance.

She would do best with a confident sibling or with someone who can provider her with a lot of exposure to new things and people to help her gain confidence.

With a supportive environment, Astrid is poised to flourish, and her confidence will continue to grow with guidance and socialization.

Astrid will be available for adoption in January.

Every German Shepherd deserves a home.

Each year, 2.7 million cats and dogs are euthanized in the United States - and German Shepherds are no exception. By choosing to adopt a dog, you act as an agent of change. To learn more, click this link to view our Adoption Policies.

Updates on New Rescue Dogs

We have several dogs in our foster network. These dogs will not appear on our site until their health problems are resolved. Foster parents are also still learning their personalities. Foster parents determine when a dog is ready for adoption.
