Returning a Dog to Rescue

If you have adopted a dog from GSDRGA and want to return the dog to rescue, contact our foster coordinators at dnew@gashepherd.org, ktipton@gashepherd.org, wnirenberg@gashepherd.org.

  1. Please let us  know the  date  you  adopted  your  dog,  contract  number,  and the  name of  his or her foster  parent.
  2. We will need to see a copy of your dog’s current vet records.
  3. GSDRGA Volunteers will evaluate your dog before you return it to rescue.  Based on our evaluation, we may or may not choose to take the dog into rescue.
  4. Acceptance into rescue is based on the availability of foster space and the adoptability of the dog.
  5. If accepted into rescue, after an evaluation period, GSDRGA will then place your dog available for adoption to a qualified and approved owner.
An Atlanta based non-profit 501c3 charitable rescue organization.  Your donations to this rescue are tax deductible
